Loretta Lynn Died of Old Age and Peacefully in Her Sleep
The Queen of Country Music died in the early morning of Tuesday, October 4, 2020. As she was born on the 14th of April 1932, she died at the age of 90. Loretta Lynn died of old age and peacefully so. This is according to a statement her family published on her website and social media pages.
As culled from the statement, the country singer died in her sleep, and at her famous home in Hurrican Mills, Tennessee. As her family grieves her passing, they implored the public for privacy, adding that a public announcement regarding her memorial will be communicated later.
While Loretta Lynns died of old age and peacefully; she battled several health issues in the latter years of her life. In 2016, she had to cancel her annual Labor Day Concert after she suffered a fall at her home. The following year, it circulated that she was hospitalized after she suffered a stroke.
While recovering, she suffered yet another fall that broke her hips; this was on the 1st of January 2018. It was reported several times that she was sick in the last few years. Some sources claim she struggled with pneumonia among other things.

Yet, it was a loving union that lasted for 48 years and produced six children. Their first child was Betty Sue Lynn who was born on the 26th of November 1948. The next year, on the 7th of December 1949, they welcomed a son named Jack Benny Lynn. After him came another son named Ernest Ray “Ernie” Lynn: he was born on the 27th of May 1951.
Another female child, Clara Marie “Cissie” Lynn, joined the family on the 7th of April 1952. The youngest of her children are her twin daughters, Peggy Jean and Patsy Eileen Lynn.
